PULSE vol. 18

LeeAnn Cline • Aug 30, 2022

hello my friends! wow another month has zipped right along. i hope you all had a fantastic july. our boys took 2nd & 1st in each of their baseball leagues! other than that, my littlest brother got engaged, so planning all sorts of showers & parties as i have been asked to be maid of honor. ♡ i fly to walnut creek to visit my sister this weekend, and next thursday i fly out with carson to seattle to catch some M's games.

i would love to hear about what you guys are up to, any suggestions for a trip to SF or brunch spots in Seattle. shoot me a line
here

& here is bridgerton fieldville saying maaaaaam! please stay home!

so, what's in the PULSE...a new speak easy review, markdowns(!!), a deeper look into our Guardsman Policy, new dining collections in prep for fall, and of course a unique playlist to jive to. so grab your coffee, wine, or water & let's hang out for a bit!

do you ever crave music you don't know just for background noise while you're trying to get work done? that is THIS list! european artists with a chill vibe.

perfect times to listen to this mix: waiting in an airport, on a bright morning walk, computer work background music.

enjoy here

spotlight on:

THICK AS THIEVES

the newest speak easy in downtown boise. i've been waiting for this spot to open for a HOT MINUTE. you can find the secret entrance in the old Louie's building. You have to call on a phone, they open a secret door, it's a WHOLE thing!

i give it a 7.5 stars out of 10. the paper products were amazingly done, the drinks were fantastic & so was the lighting. i only doc a little for no windows (small tight space) & no separation of space (very loud ambiance) - which i crave in an intimate setting like this.

if you go, i suggest ordering the panda fizz, that's my tall drink in the top image! YUM!

MHF GUARDSMAN PROGRAM.

if you have pets, kiddos or eat dinner on the couch occasionally (shhh we won't tell!) this 5 year warranty is for you.

our GOLD PRIME PLUS PROTECTION PLAN lets you furnish your home fearlessly. you can hang out stress free knowing Guardsman technicians will restore your investment!

so what kind of damage or stains does the plan cover? here's just a few off the list:

\\ punctures, cuts, rips
\\ burns
\\ broken zippers
\\ heat marks
\\ pet damage
\\ peeling or cracking of finishes
\\ food & beverage stains
\\ punctures or separated seams

each Guardsman Policy is for 5 years and covers all applicable items on your purchase order. the cost break down is as follows:

$169 for 5 years if purchase is up to $1,500

$189 for 5 years if purchase is $3,000 & up

Tomato Plants. let's talk about them for a minute. for the first time ever, i threw a few tomato starters in a planter - AND THEN WE GOT THAT JUNE SNOW - so i thought they were goners. low & behold - i have tomatoes growing! (small victories!) so, even tho i haven't had a bountiful harvest yet, here are a few tomato inspired recipes i've been waiting to try!

the deluxaney - comforting style meets calm visual appeal. the marble tabletop looks stunning against the birch wood column. keep in mind this is real marble so the deposits and veining are naturally formed & each table will be unique. we've been getting asked more & more for round tables & this beaut measures 52" diameter.

the bolanburg - this gem of a collection fits your home whether you feel farmhouse, shabby chic or country cottage. the strong double pedestal base with the grey washed top offers a TON of character. seating up to TEN - the table measures 103" including the removable leaf.

the lodenbay - ooooh this one is so lovely. a little bit cottage with an antiqued grey base and rich walnut on top. this round table has an extension leaf so you can easily sit six. a perfect gathering spot for family dinners, homework & game nights. full extended measures: 71.88"
